winsome: generally pleasing and engaging often because of a childlike charm and innocence
daft: silly, stupid, mad or frivolously merry
hyperbole: a: obvious and intentional exaggeration b: an extravagant statement or figure of speech not intended to be taken literally
cathartic: a: purification or purgation of the emotions primarily through art b: a purification or purgation that brings about spiritual renewal or release from tension c: elimination of a complex by bringing it to consciousness and affording it expression
homage: a: respect or reverence paid or rendered b: something done or given in acknowledgment or consideration of the worth of another
impervious: a: not permitting penetration or passage; impenetrable b: incapable of being injured or impaired c: incapable of being influenced, persuaded or affected
amiable: a: having or showing pleasant, good-natured personal qualities; affable b: agreeable; willing to accept the wishes, decisions, or suggestions of another or others
squalid: foul and repulsive, as from lack of care or cleanliness; neglected and filthy
innate: a: existing in one from birth; inborn; native b: inherent in the essential character of something c: originating in or arising from the intellect or the constitution of the mind, rather than learned through experience
equanimity: mental or emotional stability or composure, especially under tension or strain; calmness; equilibrium
