I’ve always marveled at the blues, and the power that a sad song has to transport the singer and listener from a place of pain, to a place of beauty. To share our pain is such a deeply human act that allows us to better see the connections that we have to each other, and the beauty that lies in an aching heart.
I just found out about the street artist named ABOVE, who created this amazing image that perfectly captures what is virtually impossible to wrap words around, so I’ll stop trying.
