10 Things I Learned from a Family Vacation to the Mountains

1. I need more nature time in my life.
2. Being face to face with a moose is an exhilarating thing.
3. Family is as family does.
4. The view from 11,000 feet makes me cry. Every time.
5. The trust of kids is an honor not to be taken lightly.
6. Carrying a 3 year old up a mountain is hard work. Him cheering “Go faster! Go faster!” doesn’t help.
7. An alpine slide is a great way to shake off the cobwebs of life.
8. The best moments come between moments.
9. Abundance needs generosity in order to flow.
10. Love (and a heaping dose of patience) is the key.
